Our client in Chandlers Ford wanted to completely rethink their outdoor space, turning a cramped one-car driveway and an underused back garden into practical, attractive areas for modern living and entertaining.
The Challenge
The original front garden had a small, single-car driveway surrounded by lawn, which simply wasn’t meeting the family’s needs. At the back, there was a tired patio and patchy lawn with uneven levels, making it less inviting for gatherings or relaxing.
Our Solution
We started by excavating the entire front area, removing the existing driveway and grass. With careful groundworks and edging, we installed a high-quality resin-bound surface that extended the parking capacity to comfortably fit four to five cars. The seamless, fully permeable finish offers excellent drainage, a smart contemporary look, and minimal maintenance.
In the rear garden, we removed the old patio and lawn entirely, then re-levelled the space to create a more usable layout. We laid premium porcelain slabs for a sleek, durable patio ideal for entertaining, with crisp lines and easy cleaning. To soften the look and deliver year-round greenery, we finished the garden with a Namgrass artificial lawn, providing a lush, low-maintenance space that’s perfect for children, pets, or simply relaxing.
The Result
The transformation is both practical and visually striking. The new resin driveway enhances kerb appeal while solving parking issues for good. At the back, the combination of a stylish porcelain patio and realistic artificial grass creates a modern, welcoming outdoor living area that’s easy to enjoy in all seasons.
